How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

A Few Things

I was in the ER last night. I'm going to see a cardiologist on Wednesday. I don't want to talk about it too much just in case it is really nothing. I could really use some commissioned work, not that I'm begging, just letting everyone know, that yes I do do commissions. I've had people ask, and then never reply back,, so I'm throwing it out there. YES I do commissions. I only charge 10 dollars. I'm ready for school to end so I can get to summer and start working so I can get some money. I would really like to buy a Macbook this summer before I come back to school and start my graphic design classes in the fall. Now if only Apple would stop being so damn expensive. My heart goes out to everyone who was affected by the tornadoes in the South the other night. I wish I had money to donate because I would in a matter of seconds. If you do want to donate please donate to The Red Cross. I am sorry I haven't been as active with my art lately, I was really behind on some commissions from Model Mayhem, I'm hoping to start making some personal art this weekend.

I hope everyone is doing well.

I know a thing or to about heart conditions ( I suffered a catastrophic aortic dissection, cardiac arythmia a month later and a pulmonary embolism 2 weeks after that ) so when you speak of seeing a cardiologist I really do hope it goes well for you.

My suggestion before you invest in a Macbook consider what you are really getting. From the words of the instructor of my class, none of the major studios use Macs, I saw some proof of this when the guy from Dreamworks gave a lecture and couldn't figure out how to run his presentation on the school's Mac that was there.

For what you would pay for a Macbook, you could seriously buy two Windows laptops and have one for a spare. Macs do have some advantages in audio work, but as far as graphics go, it's all the same and you will be limited in the software available for a Mac.

When I was getting ready to start my class I found out it was being taught on the Mac, so I made that assumption that maybe there were advantages and looked into buying one, and got some real sticker shock. I don't know this for sure but I think the only reason they use Macs at my school is because Apple must have given them a really good deal or something.
