It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

_{Haha I got one!!!! I was hoping to find more photos to edit/retouch/manipulate and I did!!!! ^_^ My last two deviations have been photos from ModelMayhem in the lovely forums that the photographers and models post for us digital artists to retouch and manip. I am very happy. It does have its glitches though and it is annoying. >.<

I am also happy to say that I've reached over 10,000 pages views!! Thank you to all of my supporters and watchers. I never thought that I would get this far on this site.

I only have 20 days left until I'm out of high school forever!!!! Thank goodness. Now all I have to do is battle off the senioritis. I am also happy to say that I am so far the salutatorian of my class and I will be making a speech at my graduation. I was tickled pink upon hearing this because I've always wanted to thank those that need thanking properly and to speak to my class as a whole.
